Nestled is a bent plastic wall organizer with a simple-looking at first glance.
These waves explore staggered space on the wall, gathering stuff orderly in one place and handy for the taking.
Content
This project started from examining rituals and the small gestures in our lives and the lives of those around us to identify experiences that help us deepen our feelings of connection— connection by memory, nostalgia, inheritance, blood, love, learning, longing, hope, etc. Therefore, I want to design a product that lie at the center of frequent rituals will keep us feeling connected.
Design process
In daily life, a ritual can be easily seen where people collect plastic bags for future use. Normally, people first screwed the plastic bag up into a ball and then threw it into the cabinet.
The idea of waved-shaped board hanging on the wall is to allow plastic bags to be stuffed into the gaps. The plastic bag will not fall off and is well covered. It looks well-organized even when filled with a lot of plastic bags. By testing the different sequences of the waved-shaped board, the final configuration is determined.
In addition to placing plastic bags, it can also place more items, depending on where the user places them and how they want to use them.
